Welcome to Eyreleigh Sport Horses. We are based in North Canterbury, New Zealand. Our breeding operation is small and selective, and focused on producing purebred Irish Draughts, particularly mares, as well as breeding up using thoroughbred mares. We are aiming to produce quality versatile sporthorses that are well handled and have good temperaments.
We are part of the syndicate which owns the purebred Irish stallion Coalman's Touch, who has a fantastic temperament, jumping ability and movement. We are delighted with all our youngstock to date and have had successes showing in-hand. All our youngstock are branded and registered with the New Zealand Irish Horse Society.
