We are proud to announce that we have been named the Irish Horse Society's 2007/2008 Breeder of the Year. Eyreleigh was accorded this honour for the promotion of the purebred Irish horse.

Irish horses prove toughest in eventing
Amongst the starting field of 69 horses in the three-day-event competition of the Olympic Games in Hong Kong, 18 (26%) were Irish-bred, and all made it through to the closing stages.After the cross-country, there were eight Irish horses in the top 15, and the best placed was individual silver medalist Gina Miles's McKinlaigh, who ultimately finished second overall, less than two penalties behind the winner.
Irish sport horses dominate Olympic three-day
Irish sport horses are proving a dominant force in the leaderboard of the Olympic three-day-event so far. With just the showjumping phase left to go in competition in Hong Kong, eight horses of Irish breeding are in the top 15, and they're ridden by a variety of nationalities.
Eyreleigh Shenanigan
Eyreleigh Shenanigan has been sold to Vicky Jacks, of Whakatane. He is being ridden by Jacob Razak. Shenanigan is progressing well in his eventing career, and was fourth in the Young Sport Horse class at the Horse of the Year show earlier this year.He's pictured below in action with Jacob Razak.
